Trump has officially signed the executive order to dismantle the Department of Education on March 21, 2025.  The order will not officially remove the Department completely, but stop certain operations done by them. The Department of Education serves to handle federal finances for education program, but also promote improvement and usefulness in the education system. Many are worried about what will happen to the financial support programs, but experts say that this will not affect them. Congress is looking into potentially shifting the some responsibilities towards other agencies and departments. However, this does not stop the concern of many people.
