Casandra Hernandez is one of many outgoing students here at Corsicana High school. She is a junior preparing for her senior year, class of 2025. Casandra is graduating in the top ten percent of her class and has a GPA of 3.5. She is part of the NHS, Calicos, cross country, and track. she has been part of the track team for three years. This year she has broken two school records for track in long distance and has qualified for area and regionals in the 4×4. She will be a Calico Sr. Lieutenants for the 24-25 school year. She has been awarded All American, kick company, and dancer of the week. Casandra plans on attending Dallas College to receive a degree in sonography to become a Cardiac Sonographer. She holds herself up to high standards and never fails to achieve them. Casandra is hard working and extremely competitive. She could be described as a perfectionist. She never leaves something unfinished and always makes sure to give it her best. Her Mother, Monserrat Hernandez, and sister, Lizvete Hernandez, being the reason she is inspired to always aime for the best. As Casandra said, “To not take anything for granted, not too long ago I was a freshman and now my time is coming to an end to graduate in a year”.
