The Corsicana Tigers Varsity jump on Nacogdoches (TX) early and coast to 12-0 win

The Corsicana Tigers Varsity jumped out to an early lead on Nacogdoches and captured a 12-0 victory on Tuesday.

Five runs in the first three innings allowed the Corsicana Tigers Varsity to put the game away early.

A groundout by Ty Nolen, an RBI single by Devan Lindsey, an RBI single byLayton Wolver, and a two-run error during the second inning fueled the Corsicana Tigers Varsity’s offense early.

Wolver racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Corsicana Tigers Varsity.

The Corsicana Tigers Varsity’s Trevor Nolen kept Nacogdoches off the scoreboard for all six innings he was on the bump. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on three hits while striking out eight.

Reagan Yarbrough couldn’t get it done on the rubber for Nacogdoches , taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked two and struck out none.

The Corsicana Tigers Varsity increased their lead with five runs in the sixth. The inning looked promising, as Corbin Hall singled, scoring Jackson Kennemore to kick things off.
