Soccer season has begun! This year’s team is a lot different from last year as they lost 11 team members. It is brand new team this year. Brianna Roberts, Stephanie Vera, Stephanie Willingham, Kassie Morales, Helen Hibbs, and Ana Aloccer are the few players returning from last year. The team does have a promising team, as many new faces have come to join. Speed is no longer a problem because this team has it. The goal of the team is to do well this season and make it to the playoffs.
The lady tigers have already completed their pre-district games. The first district game is this Friday. The lady tigers will also compete with the other schools in our district. The schools include Lindale, John Tyler, Nacogdoches, Jacksonville, Lufkin, and Whitehouse. The goal of this season is to do well and make it to the playoffs.
Come support the both soccer teams this Friday, January 30th at Tiger Stadium!  Both boy and girl teams will play against Lindale. Girls will play first at 5:30 and boys will play at 7.p.m.
