Corsicana Tiger baseball started their fall ball season off in a good way. The varsity team has had an undefeated record so far by beating Kilgore, Joshua and Midlothian two times each (6-0). Tonight they plan to take on the Burleson Wildcats, but plan to keep their undefeated record going. The Junior Varsity team is dead even with their record after playing against Forney, Arlington High and Joshua (3-3). “The fall season is a great way to get us back into the motion of doing things the right way,” senior varsity player Holden Grounds said. The fall season is all about getting at bats and getting the feel back for the game. The Tigers ended their playoff run in the third round by losing to rival, Waxahachie in a best two out of three match. Ever since then the Tigers have just been taking their anger out on other teams by crushing them, just waiting to get another chance again at Waxahachie. They play Waxahachie on October 16th. Hopefully, this time they will end the game in the right way.
