As of this week, Wednesday and Thursday Student Council hosted the spring Carter Blood Drive; the last blood drive of the year. With only setting a sign-up table in the commons throughout the week, they achieved the goal of filling up the entire sheet. The table was full of students ready to donate their blood to the people in need.

The participants in the drive are all lifesavers, donating enough blood for more than one hundred lives to be saved by just giving at the most an hour of their time. Being recognized by many, Corsicana High School was awarded as the top 5A school in central Texas for giving so many others another chance at life, parents another day with their children, and the couples another forever lasting moment with their soulmates. Giving blood is giving life.
