The Jungle Beast Journal is what we know now as CHS Student Connection and back then it wasn’t online. It was on newspaper and it has been since 1941.

Before Jungle Beast Journal, it was called “The Press Club.” Because back in the 1940s to the 1990s they had was (what would be random clubs to us) clubs like, “The Creative Writting Club,” “The Girls Glee Club,” “The Boys Glee Club,” “The Non-Athletics Club,” and “The Physical Education Club.” Now those sound like weird club organization names, but they were real clubs. The people below were in the press club/the jungle beast journal, and one was even mayor of Corsicana. If you want to learn more about the Jungle Beast Journal, go to the Corsicana Library downtown.
